Eurochocolate a Perugia

On Saturday, I went to the Eurochocolate Festival in Perugia! I was stoked!

We took the train to Perugia and then a bus to where we thought the chocolate festival was supposed to be. We didn't see the festival but we did see this train labeled "Chocolate Train." So we bought tickets and hopped on.

...And we ended up back at the train station! Doh! That would explain why all of the people on the train had bags of chocolate... So we stayed on the train and took the scenic route back to the festival.

After that, we decided that the smart thing to do would be to follow the masses. That led us to a cave-like place.

Eventually we found the festival! We bought chocolate cards and were ready to roll!

As we walked around the festival, we were impressed that every song we heard was about chocolate. We had no idea that there were so many songs about chocolate!

The "Baci" was the predecessor to the Hershey's "Kiss", or so I was told. (Baci means "kiss" in Italian.)

We found a lovely view. Perugia was very scenic with cool architecture. I would have liked to have seen more of the city.

Cioccolata Calda
I got a cioccolata calda and it was delicious! It was thick and rich. My friends thought that it was so rich that I wouldn't be able to finish it. But I have a certain set of skills when it comes to chocolate.

This one wouldn't rotate either. :(
This was the most exciting thing that I got with the choco-card. I got a "chocolate" iPhone case and an adorable chocolate bar in the shape of an iPhone. Pretty sweet!
