Stumbled Upon Piazza Michelangelo

With my body sort of working again, I am all geared up to go exploring! Fortunately for me, though I live in a city finding a bit of nature is not all that difficult. I figured that I'd take a stroll down the Arno River to get out of the city a bit.

And then I saw this thing fortress/tower-looking thing from a distance, and so I wanted to see it.

Unfortunately, I couldn't climb up it. The gate was locked.

But then of course I had to climb up these stairs. 

And I arrived at Piazza Michelangelo! It was covered in tourists and vendors. Ethereal music played. But what I really cared about was the view that I've heard so much about.

I'm fortunate to live in a place where there is always more to discover. And where there is so. much. beauty.
